Chapter 1: When Your Child Says 'They're Picking on Me'
You were folding laundry when you heard it. Or maybe you were stirring dinner, or scrolling through your phone in the school pickup line, half-listening to the usual stream of chatter about recess and who got in trouble for talking too much. Your hands stopped. Your stomach dropped.
