Every serious cook has been here. It is Sunday afternoon, and you are standing in the kitchen, feeling proud. You have just completed the weekly ritual: a detailed meal plan taped to the refrigerator, a shopping list organized by aisle, and containers of prepped vegetables ready for the week.
