Also, for a book called 'complete', I was hoping for more detailed step-by-step photos, which there are not. Still, I learned enough to fix a leak I had been fighting with for months, so it paid for itself.

As a hobbyist who has always been a bit intimidated by the idea of replacing a top myself, this was a good stepping stone. I really appreciated the chapter on how the fabric and the frame interact, because that is what I never understood before. The troubleshooting section saved me a trip to the upholstery shop when my zipper track was binding. Only gripe is that some of the business advice is a bit much for me as a non-professional, but that is a minor thing.
